Kor Whitening

Stained teeth can result from some foods, drinks, or as a side effect of certain antibiotic treatments and can cause self-esteem issues. John D. Miller, DMD, PC, can change a dulled and yellow smile into a dazzling white smile.

In-office whitening is the fastest and most efficient method to restore smiles. One of the whitening systems available at our office is the Kor Whitening System.

Most patients who have tried over-the-counter whitening kits have been disappointed with the end results and have been frustrated with the goopy applications and treatment time involved. Professional treatments provide several shades more whitening in considerably less time.

Kor is the first system to offer a line of products that require refrigeration. Keeping the product cold prevents it from losing its effectiveness, ensuring a fantastic smile.

The Kor system is more effective than other systems due to the technology used to keep the whitening agent active for longer periods of time. The unique tray seals the gel against the teeth, preventing saliva and other fluids from diluting the whitening agent, thus allowing more time for Kor to complete treatment. A typical whitening session lasts from 25 to 35 minutes before the gels begin to break down, but Kor gels keep working long after others fail.

Kor whitening agents also contain desensitizers to prevent teeth sensitivity and pain before there is a chance to start. This is especially desired in patients who are dealing with teeth sensitivity as a pre-existing condition.
